Verjaardag Cathelijne !!!

Oma, moeder en dochter...



De Nederlandse Ambassadeur en zijn gezin kwamen vandaag op kraambezoek.




Vanochtend heeft de moeder van Cathelijne, die momenteel op bezoek is, samen met ons ontbeten. Dit was de start van een speciale dag; de verjaardag van Cathelijne!

Wij vieren haar verjaardag voor het eerst samen met Norah!

Vanochtend hebben we Norah voor het eerst in de kinderwagen in de zon gezet. Op deze manier krijgt ze voldoende vitamine D.

The first 24 hours at home with Norah went very well. She slept and drank regularly. In true Philippine style Norah is wearing mittens. She is 94 hours old in this picture.


Barbara, a colleague of Cathelijne, together with her family visited us this late afternoon.

Norah Carla is born

Norah Carla was born on June 24th at 21.50 hours in Muntinlupa, which is part of Metro Manila. She weighs 3540 grams and is 48 cm long. Our hearts are filled with happiness with the arrival of our beautiful and healthy daughter.

Today we have returned from the hospital. In the Philippines it is common to stay in the hospital for 48 hours after birth, during which the baby is observed and the parents are supported during the first steps of parenthood.

Norah is now 44 hours old.

Leaving the hospital on June 27th. Norah is now 62 hours old.

Minutes after arriving home on June 27th. Norah is now 63 hours old.

Solar Management Team

Today Ramin and his team visited one of the Solar branch offices to get trained in auditing safety and operational compliance. This office is located about 4 hours North of Manila. In this photo the complete Management Team.

38 weeks pregnant

Today Cathelijne is 38 pregnant. This evening we had one colleague of Ramin and his wife over for dinner.
